Elon Musk Donates $10M to GOP Senate Candidate Nate Morris in Kentucky Race

Elon Musk has contributed $10 million to a super PAC backing Republican Senate candidate Nate Morris, marking his largest donation to a single Senate campaign. Morris is competing to succeed retiring Sen. Mitch McConnell in Kentucky. The donation to Fight for Kentucky comes after Musk gave at least $250 million to Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign.

Morris, a business executive and founder of Rubicon Technologies, launched his campaign last June, positioning himself as an outsider promising to challenge McConnell’s legacy. He has criticized fellow GOP candidates, including Rep. Andy Barr and Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, as “McConnell-ites.”

Musk, who briefly led the Department of Government Efficiency last year, has remained active in Republican circles, attending high-profile events and meeting with top administration officials. Reports indicate he plans to continue substantial contributions for the midterm elections, bolstering GOP campaigns nationwide.

Morris has also invested heavily in his own campaign, loaning over $3 million and raising more than $1 million from supporters through the third quarter of 2025.
