Mary Trump Introduces Her Wife Ronda Cress in Heartfelt Post, Shares First Wedding Photo

Mary Trump reveals her marriage to Ronda Cress, sharing their love story, private wedding details, and why they kept their relationship hidden until now.

Donald Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, has shared “some news,” as she described it—publicly introducing her wife, Ronda Cress, for the first time. In a post on X, Mary shared a picture from their wedding rehearsal along with a link to her Substack titled “The Art of Living, Part I.”

Mary, a psychologist and author, revealed that she and Ronda were married in an intimate ceremony in Arizona in October. They later held a small celebration with close friends and family in New York. She wrote that during both gatherings, they realized how surrounded they were by people who made their lives better and inspired them to be better themselves.

Mary shared that Ronda previously worked in the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice but resigned in May last year. Their love story began long before then—first meeting at a fundraiser in December 2022, and then again in September 2024 at a discussion for Mary’s third book in Washington, D.C.

What followed was a slow-building connection strengthened through long conversations. Mary described hours-long phone calls that stretched late into the night and eventually daily conversations that lasted for hours. When they finally reunited in March in Washington, D.C., she knew she had fallen deeply in love.

Mary also revealed why the relationship had been kept private for so long. She said her uncle, Donald Trump, played a major role in their caution—particularly while Ronda still worked at the DOJ. They feared potential retaliation, so they intentionally kept their relationship out of public view. After Ronda resigned, going public no longer felt urgent, especially while she figured out her next career steps.

Mary noted that the political environment inside the DOJ during that period was turbulent, with experienced career professionals being reassigned, demoted, or forced out. Ronda eventually left her role and later moved to New York.

In her post, Mary also highlighted Ronda’s new Substack newsletter, “The Little Girl with the Big Voice,” which focuses on helping people find and use their voices during crucial times.

Mary Trump first hinted at her marriage back in January, sharing that she had married her best friend in front of close friends and family. Now, she has finally introduced Ronda to the world with a joyful picture and a heartfelt story.
