Melania Trump’s Emails with Ghislaine Maxwell Surface in Latest Epstein Files

Newly released documents from the Epstein Files reveal alleged emails between First Lady Melania Trump and convicted Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, showing an exchange in which Melania reportedly praised Maxwell and signed off with “Love.”

The emails, allegedly from 2002 when Melania was dating Donald Trump, saw the then-model compliment Maxwell on a New York Magazine article about Jeffrey Epstein and on a photo of herself. She allegedly wrote: “Dear G! How are you? Nice story about JE in NY mag. You look great in the picture…Give me a call when you are back in NY. Have a great time! Love, Melania.” Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in Epstein’s crimes, allegedly responded warmly, addressing Melania as “Sweet pea.”

Other emails in the release mention Melania in connection with Trump during a 2016 Florida visit. One email describes the President meeting Melania on his plane, noting his reaction to her appearance.

The documents, part of the Department of Justice’s January 30, 2026 release under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, include over 3.5 million pages, 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images. The files aim to publicly disclose all records linked to Epstein.

The White House dismissed allegations in the files, stating that some “contain untrue and sensationalist claims” and emphasizing that neither President Trump nor Melania Trump has faced legal accusations related to Epstein.

The First Lady’s name emerged in the files shortly after the release of her self-titled documentary on January 30, 2026, which has already sparked controversy due to its director, Brett Ratner, who has faced multiple sexual assault allegations.

This latest tranche continues to fuel public interest in the connections between prominent figures and the late financier, though no criminal wrongdoing has been established against Melania or Donald Trump.
