Oklahoma Man Indicted Over Threats Against Trump and Top US Officials

Federal prosecutors have indicted an Oklahoma man, Jacob Hudson, after investigators say he made repeated violent threats against President Donald Trump and several current and former U.S. officials, including FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi.

According to court filings, Hudson also directed threats at former presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden through a series of social media posts that prosecutors described as explicit and extreme. Many of the posts referenced conspiracy theories surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case, which has fueled ongoing online speculation and inflammatory rhetoric.

Authorities say Hudson used graphic language to suggest that senior government officials would be publicly executed if information related to Epstein were fully disclosed. In several posts from late 2025, he directly targeted Trump, Patel and Bondi, as well as Patel’s partner, making accusations tied to his belief that government leaders were concealing crimes.

Federal investigators said Hudson admitted to posting the messages, claiming he believed he was acting to “protect children.” His brother told authorities that Hudson held intense political views and had previously clashed with family members over them.

Court records also note that at the time of his arrest, Hudson made erratic statements, including identifying himself as “Batman,” and allegedly shouted about wanting to kill the president. Prosecutors said those actions contributed to the decision to detain him.

Hudson now faces federal charges related to threatening and intimidating public officials and law enforcement officers. He is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment on Tuesday.
