Stefon Diggs Paternity Case Dismissed After DNA Test Resolves Dispute

A legal dispute involving NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs has ended after his former partner, Aileen Lopera, moved to dismiss her paternity and child support lawsuit.

Court records show Lopera filed paperwork earlier this week requesting a full dismissal of the case. The filing followed confirmation from her attorney that a DNA test had been completed and the issue resolved. The dismissal was entered without prejudice, and no further details were disclosed in the court documents.

Lopera initially filed the petition in late 2024, stating she had given birth to a daughter earlier that year and alleging Diggs was the child’s father. She asked the court to establish paternity, grant her sole legal and physical custody, and order Diggs to pay child support and pregnancy-related expenses.

Diggs responded at the time by requesting genetic testing, saying he could not confirm paternity without DNA results. He also asked the court to consider joint custody if testing showed he was the father.

Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, told Us Weekly that the matter had been settled but declined to provide further details or confirm whether a private agreement was reached between the parties.

The case played out while Diggs’ personal life drew public attention due to his relationship with Cardi B, who has spoken publicly about expecting a child with the NFL player. Neither Diggs nor Cardi B has commented on the dismissal.

With the case now closed, no additional court hearings are scheduled, and the dispute appears to have been resolved without further legal action.
