UFC Plans Massive 100,000-Seat Stadium for Historic White House Event

The UFC is preparing one of the biggest events in its history, and it’s happening at one of the most iconic locations in the world: the White House. UFC CEO Dana White is leading the charge, working directly on the logistics, production, and matchmaking to deliver a show unlike anything the sport has seen before.

President Donald Trump recently revealed that a temporary stadium will be built specifically for the June 14, 2026 event. Instead of the originally planned 5,000 seats on the South Lawn, the updated design now aims to host an incredible 100,000 fans. According to Trump, the build is part of the country’s 250th birthday celebrations and will transform the area into a full stadium setup with massive viewing screens and a large-scale outdoor arena.

The idea of a UFC event at the White House first caught attention in 2025 when Trump mentioned it during a rally, and the anticipation has only grown since then. Dana White has reportedly held back several major title fights to save them for this historic card, meaning the event could include up to 8 or 9 championship bouts. This would make it one of the most stacked UFC lineups ever created.

Early renderings already show the White House as the backdrop to the Octagon, complete with lighting rigs and a festival-style outdoor layout. The UFC is also planning a full week of fan events across Washington, D.C., building momentum leading up to fight night.

Matchmaking officially began after UFC 324, and the full card is expected to be announced by mid-February. With millions invested, including around $700,000 already spent restoring the South Lawn, the scale of this production is set to surpass major past events like UFC 300 and UFC 306 at the Las Vegas Sphere.

If all goes as planned, the UFC’s White House event could become a defining moment in the promotion’s history — the kind of spectacle fans talk about for decades.
