National Reaction

Vice President JD Vance addressed the loss during a speech to the International Association of Fire Fighters on Monday morning, asking for prayers for the “seventh soul who will be coming home tonight.”

The news comes just two days after President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended the dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base for the six soldiers killed in the Kuwaiti port strike. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth warned over the weekend that the public should expect “more casualties” as the U.S. prepares for further escalations against the Iranian regime.
